hello aurui!
am glad that this photo brings memories of your past...
since it has become a tourist spot, it usually is very crowded on fridays. luckily, we came very early in the morning and only few were there. i was allowed to go inside but should wear the traditional "abaya". since there were few people praying that time, i decided to respect their custom, i remained outside the mosque and just took photos of the door and the most that i can see within its walls. I noticed that there are pillars dividing the prayer area...
by the way, this is called Al Bidyah Mosque taken from the name of the town where it is located, otherwisem it is also called the Ottoman mosque, named after the man who built it.
